Mildmay Ward Polling District and Polling Places Review

Find out about the outcome of polling districts and polling places review in the Mildmay Ward.

What we did

We carried out a review of suitable venues within the Mildmay polling district that could be used as a polling place, including visiting several venues to identify the most suitable and accessible venue.

We asked local people, councillors, local political parties, and organisations who know about access for people with disabilities to share their views. The consultation process was carried out in accordance with the Electoral Administration Act 2006.

The outcome

St Augustine’s Church (108 Highbury New Park) will be the new polling place. It is next to Highbury Quadrant School and has level access and all the required facilities.

We received one response to the consultation - this suggested St Augustine’s Church as an alternative venue.

The Audit and Risk Committee approved this decision on Monday 17 November 2025.

When the change starts

The change starts on 1 December 2025 when the new Register of Electors is published. It will be used for all elections for the next four years.
